How to scheme against Manziel

You. Can't.
***In before LSU fans and that gif that suggests that an LSU player is tea bagging JFF. Yes we got beat; I get it***
How do you scheme against a player that does a lot of his damage by improvising? Broken plays, scrambles, etc. He passed for 3,000 plus yards last year, yet the only thing people focus on are his circus runs, saying that they won't work again this year. He will be a more polished passer and will have plenty of offensive weapons at his disposal.
Yea, he can play "within the system" but he can take off and burn you whenever he wants. You cannot defend randomness. JFF is random. He is unorthodox. There has never been a player like him, ever, in the history of college football.
So everyone just keep talking your shite. Bookmark this thread, or whatever. People were saying this shite last year. He is going to get hurt, he is going to get destroyed and injured on the first play of the season because its the mighty SEC. Lol, I believed some of this as well but this will not happen. Everyone pray that he leaves after this year because he will, once again, wreck shop.
I mean lol what the frick are coaches going to do? They will put as the QB the fastest guy on the team and have him run zone reads and scrambling around while the defense chases him? Play zone? Have a spy? Lol, this is a good one. I would say that every single team last year had a spy on him. Put two spies? Hahaha he will pick you apart in the passing game. Its not feasible. Its possible to slow him down, just like LSU did. He will still do damage and put up yards. LSU had the best defense last year in my opinion, and although they lost a lot of players, 2nd place in the West (after A&M) is theirs to defend this season.

Insane speed on the outside with corners who can lockdown WRs for a LONG time is the only solution.
LSU had this last year. Maybe they will have it this year. And I don't want to hear that Florida had it. That was JFF's first game ever.

Here's your baptism of stupid.

It depends on our receivers. If the inexperienced group can get open and learn to downfield block when the ball is not thrown their way this offense with Johnny cannot be stopped unless Johnny has an off day.
Your best option is to make Johnny beat you with his arm. He can and will, but its possible he has an off day. There's no off days running the ball. If you let him he'll run for 150 yards and 3 TDs on you
Now the D just has to keep teams under 30 which they did last year

Saying he will get hurt or anything like that is stupid. Unless he gets completed blindsided within the first 3 seconds of the play, then it's not gonna happened.
Lock down the receivers and Johnny Manziel is done. Not a flame, not a rustled jimmies statement. Florida did it and LSU did it. Bama failed and got their arse kicked.

Saban with MONTHS to prepare can be ready for anything. That's been a constant over the years. JFF hasn't. Saban > Johnny

JFF is the college football version of Manu Ginobili in his prime.
Neither dude really knows wtf is going to happen next on their biggest plays, but they fricking make them anyway.
Oh, and didn't read a word of that wall of text, OP

Will Johnny Football have the receivers to throw to this season? Four of your top six in receiving yardage are no longer on the roster. If defenses lock down Evans and some of your young guys fail to step up it won't take much to shut him down.

They don't like to admit it, but even they know you don't scheme for JFF. The kid's at his best when things don't work as planned.
He's chaos. You don't plan for that.
But what you can do is attempt to contain chaos. That requires supreme athleticism in the front 7. LSU had it in 2012, and that's why the succeeded.

You need to go back & watch some film on Archie Manning, Cam Newton and probably a couple of dozen more before you proclaim JFF the best college player or QB EVER. F'n SEC pledges...
