This is a bit off the BAMA - LSU argument ... but,

does the NCAA require that the 2 division be permanent or can you move them around anytime you want, you just have to have 2 divisions for a champship game , the reason I ask if you can designate division each year. then why not change it up every year making sure the 6 traditional rivaly games ( UGA-AU, AU-UA, UGA-UF, UT-UK, UA-UT, MSU-OM ) and even LSU-UA, are always on the schedule?

Do a nine game conference schedule, do away with divisions and SEC CG and crown the champ like they did up until 1992, with the highest ranked going to the Sugar or the most prestigious bowl.

Screw rotating and divisions.

Permanent non-divisional games will not count for divisional titles--Problem Solved!

If you think they give up the SEC Championship Game with its big bucks, you are sadly mistaken.

Giving up a non-divisional game for calculating the divisional titles is a lot cheaper and easier.
