Whenever LSU fans bring up the obvious schedule inequities between LSU and Bama. They only responses you get from Bama is:
1. Butthurt
2. Stop Whinning, crying etc
3. 21-0
4. LSU is scared of UF

My question is this, why do Bama fans oppose counting only divisional games? Both teams have to play the same teams, and it won't matter that Bama ducks all the good SEC East teams all the time.

Sorry, I just remembered most of Bama's SEC losses the last 10 years have been versus SEC West Opponents! Who scared now Gumps?

Not trying to be argumentative, I'm legitimately curious: can you link me to posts by Bama fans saying we shouldn't use the divisional record?

Wow...another whiney assed LSU fan crying about the schedule? Who would have thought it?

How would you have broken the three way tie last year?

Why do LSU fans discount the other 20 seasons of divisional play and claim Bama "always" ducks the good East teams based on two seasons?

Because it marginalizes all cross-division conference games to the extent that they might as well be OOC games? Surely that can't be it...

There is already a thread running about this. Why start another one? If anything, the Bama posters on here have been kinda mum on the topic.

They can't help it if their Scheduling Coordinator alumnus gives them high school schedules. (A&M and LSU - only 2 preseason Top 25 teams on their schedule. Meanwhile LSU plays 5 of the Top 15).
It's built in to the new NCAA that Shama is given everything. Do-overs, easy schedules, knee-pads for people to kneel down on in front of Saban, and ridiculously false praise and faux recognition.
That's the NCAAlabama. Nauseating, but true.

Now, que the 'butthurt', '21-0', and 'UMadBro' responses from Cecil and BillyJoeBob at the Bumminhayum Heights Bait, Tackle and Lingerie Shop lunch crowd up on Hooterville Road, right next to Bubba's BBQ Emporium.

2009-2012

Bama 5 total losses 90.7% winning percentage
Lsu 10 total losses 91.1% winning percentage

Bama even played one game more than Lsu the past four yrs.

Why do LSU fans generalize like this?

More importantly, why did LSU fans argue against this very thing in an old thread? LINK

I'm not against it.

I suspect you think Alabama fans are opposed to it due to the restless nights LSU fans spend frightened they are at their peak, yet 2nd place seems to be the height corndogs will ever attain.

Be proud of where the corndog nation is. Stop dreaming of ever taking the top spot in the west, let alone the conference. No amount of fuzzy math will place corndogs at the top.

Historically speaking Auburn is above LSU in Football. That's something you can ponder in your fitful dreams tonight. You were 2 points better than them last year.

Since 1992 (the year divisions were created) The combined overall record of teams LSU has played from the East in the regular season is 456-301-2. The combined record of teams from the East Bama has played is 432-321-1. The one opponent each has played all 21 years is UF and UT. UF is 209-61-1 over those years and UT is 180-82. Florida has been on average about 1.4 victories a year greater than UT over that timeframe and that makes up more than the entire difference in overall records of East opponents. Take out UF and LSU's remaining East opponents record is 247-240-1. Bama's is 252-239-1 if you remove UT.

So to summarize LSU fans are welcome to continue to bitch about having to play UF every year, but nothing else they complain about in regards to scheduling is historically accurate.

I don't think that anyone is scared of playing each other. I feel that Coach Miles had to say something or things would never change. If you don't like how something is being done, then you have to speak up. In 2010 there were 6 teams that had a bye week before they played Bama, and Coach Saban complained, and luckily that was changed, so I completely understand why Coach Miles spoke up. To me that's his job to try and get every advantage that he can for his team, and I expect Coach Saban to complain if things aren't going our way. It doesn't matter if someone calls us criers or boo hoo, it just matters that we do what we can.

and people were bitching a few weeks ago about the board being unbearable- now it's basically all schedule related all the time.
