False....Bama fans never cared about LSU until the last few years and never considered them a rival. UT and AU were always more important

This is true. Except we played Bama at Bama and beat them 11 of the last 15 times at Alabama, going back to 1982, more than any other team. That was the only games we played back then.
IOW LSU owns Alabama in their house but we try not to mention this, they'll have seizures.
