FootballNostradamus: When Morris leaves mid/postseason (depending on how the season unfolds) will it matter? Who is the likely heir apparent for the OC position for Clemson? Is there any rumbling of a plan or will it depend on how the musical chairs coaching game sorts out this season?
Remy74: I like where your head is at. Big ifs but the measurables are phenomenal. Still not likely to take #1 overall as a CB but I dig the thought process.

It will definitely matter. Before this season I would have thought it would be a 100% deal-breaker. Watson has been to Clemson like 100 times recently though and has openly admitted he is growing extremely committed to Clemson whereas he used to just talk about being committed to Morris. I have no doubt in the beginning he fell in love with Morris' system, now I'm hoping he's fallen in love with Clemson as well.
No one knows for sure who will be the new OC. Some say Jeff Scott (current Recruiting Coordinator and WR coach) is being groomed, but I don't think they'd ascend him if Morris left after this year. One thing for sure is whoever it is they will run a similar system to Morris. Dabo has said multiple times this is the offense he will be running at Clemson regardless of who the OC is.
He's been pitching it to recruits as a Clemson offense not a Morris offense (kinda like Oregon does). I think that's easier said than done, but that's what the plan is.
