I must really dislike these guys. They're both ranting about how great my favorite team's coach is, and I still despise them.

They are 100% right though. Davis was a bitch for saying that. Not that it matters, but Saban gave him a job for 3 years. Show a little respect.

The media loves to build people up and tear them down.

While Skip Bayless usually comes off as an arrogant jerk, both he and Steven Smith are right on about Saban.
Saban has taken two SEC programs that had sunken to their all-time lows in decades and resurrected them both to perennial SEC and national powers in just a matter of a couple of years.
The other coach I would put in Saban's class is Pete Carrol previously at USC.
I have a hunch Jim Mora, Jr. might be the next great college coach in the same vain as Saban and Carrol.
