Let's say you made a D in a class that you needed to make a C in. You pull up your grade on whatever program your school uses to display your grades and you see a nice fancy D next to the class you needed a C in.

You check your Final Grades next week and the class is now showing you a made a C in it. You go back to the previous program that I mentioned before and sure enough, the D has been replaces with a C, even though the number grade next to it warrants a D.

Do you email the professor and ask if this is some twisted mixup to play with your head, or do you STFU and be happy you now have a C even though your number grade is 3 points less than what it needed it to be to receive a C?

Just go with it. I thought for sure I was going to get a B in a class (what I calculated- it was impossible for me to get an A). But, I ended up with an A somehow. If the too few of people made As, some profs will boost everyone's grade up to make them look good

Study harder next time so you don't find yourself in this conundrum again.

Also this. If you struggle to make Cs in college (I assume you aren't at Vanderbilt or anywhere), you should feel bad

You drop out and go to a junior college, sounds like that is where you belong. You can thank me later.

This is the SECrOT, not the tOT. This board is 90% sidewalk. You guys don't get to be holier-than-thou assholes with 4.0's and penthouses. And I hate calc with a passion.

And if JC fails, I always have MS State to fall back on.

My advice was meant to be legitimate. If it's a class you need, and you know you need it, there is no reason to even come close to falling below the acceptable grade level. Study, ask questions, get help, go to office hours - do whatever you have to. I'm not saying you should be getting A's in every class, but you shouldn't be fretting on whether one will have to be retaken either.

Two comedy courses, a gynecology course, a hymen class. What's the last one?

I'm surprised you did so well in your comedy classes. Must have been a woman teaching the class.

Yeah it's a class I knew would kick my arse. And technically, I don't need it anymore since my major's changing over the summer. Don't really have any other problem the other maths, Calc's just a thorn in my side. I studied with a study group so I can at least say I tried.
