The BCS is a beauty pageant that looks at style points and stats to qualify.

How else do you expect them to differentiate between teams with identical records and no way to have a tie breaker like you would for conference selection

ETA. and if it wasnt for those style, beauty points, and stats, where would LSU have ended up in 07'. it because of that, you were placed into the game

If everyone will be honest, you know that Bama has only been very luckey to win the games which they won.
And they had the refs bought off.
And they cheat in every way under the sun.
The REC pays players.
Oh, and they cheat.
Therefore they are a dynasty of cheaters.

Wait, what??? how was stanford left out?

Stanford, with Harbaugh coaching and Luck at QB...definitely one of the best teams that year. Not sure how everyone would have handled them in a playoff

So....you want to just place them into the game? even though they lost to the team, that was in the game. hmmm, what does that sound like

Their hatred for everything Alabama has clouded their judgement.

'07 was sort of an odd year....if not LSU, than who? #3 in the BCS was Virginia Tech, whom LSU beat earlier in the season...

I think in a playoff, USC and Georgia would have had strong arguments to be there

probably would have been:
#1 Ohio State vs. USC
#2 LSU vs. #3 Virginia Tech in a rematch

Georgia left out, unless they got in ahead of USC

His style is to make a terrible argument, get shot down, and then move on to the next terrible argument. Lets see what the next one is.

In a playoff, that's what you would have gotten

#1 Auburn vs. Stanford
#2 Oregon vs. #3 TCU

I dont need any arguments. Bama is a dynasty. Everyone agrees but the assgriefed LSU fans, and that OSU alter.

Im really just here to laugh at your dumb arse. You are pretty solid entertainment.

ssssshhhhhhh

Let him think he knows what he is talking about. He is hanging in there by a string. Who knows what another blow to his fragile confidence could bring.

Kansas an hawaii both had better records than LSU. again if it wasnt for style points LSU would not have been there

ETA and Mizzou had an identical record and conference champ

I didn't say I have a better option. My point was that bama only won the SEC title 2 times in 4 years and people are screaming dynasty. 2 out of 4 is hardly a dynasty.

1-loss FSU team that probably could have beaten both

Michigan was legit, IMO Nebraska '97 rolled through an easy schedule, needed the miraculous catch against Missouri (was that the 5th down catch??), and had freaking Scott Frost at QB...

FSU had a pretty stout D that year...their only slip up was against Florida at the end of the year. I don't think either Michigan or Nebraska would have wanted to play them in a playoff...
