Why is the Rant Dead? Isn't College Baseball Still Happening?

Lately, I've heard several people say that the rant sucks something terrible because all of the good posters have left since it is the offseason.
I thought the offseason technically starts when the college baseball season concludes.
That would imply that the rant shouldn't be this awful until the conclusion of the College World Series. However, that's not the case.
Are we in the offseason or not?

Yeah, yeah, yeah...but I thought southerners love them some baseball too.
It would seems that all of the good posters have left to enjoy the offseason break. And the fact that southerners enjoy their baseball must be a myth...

Not sure what you're talking about. I think it's worth noting that since March Madness ended the rant has become a wasteland...
FYI...the term "yank" is a compliment up here in Missouri.

That's what I was talking about. But you have a valid point because this place is a wasteland. It's because the people here care about football a hell of a lot more than baseball. Which you already know
