I would like to see it divided based on division....SEC West should get to pick a team, and SEC East should get to pick a team

I'd say UAB and Louisville. Louisville adds football and basketball and is a natural rival with Kentucky and UAB is a top medical school in a vibrant city that happens to be the headquarters of the SEC and a natural rival for Bama and Auburn. UAB is also a really large school so with the SEC revenue they can improve their sports teams quickly.

If you did it that way, because of SC and UF, expanding north would be required. SEC east would be VT or UVA. NC and Duke are a package that wouldn't split. SEC west would probably go for someone like Houston or SMU. TV sets plus another weaker conference team to have an automatic win against.

Or move Mizzou to the west and get NC and Duke.

Well no ACC team will be added anymore since they have given their media rights to the Conference until 2027? I believe ... so I think expansion will die down for a little while unless we want to move west or north and I don't think we'll do that so .............

Virginia Tech and Okie State are the only two logical answers. We should never let the festering puss wound that is Texas ever be considered nor their submissive bitch slave Choklahoma

If the SEC goes to 16, it adds Va or Va Tech and NC State.

16 teams are just way too many for once conference. The WAC tried it long ago and it didn't work well.
