I have no problem with us playing Florida every year. In fact, Gainesville is one of my favorite trips.
My problem is missing out on great players and teams. with the 6-1-1 we could miss out on the next Walker, Manning, Bo, etc... go to a 9 game 6-3 schedule and I should be able to see virtually every player that goes thru the SEC at least once. And by adding the 9th game,"it means we probably get to see more good games each year."

I have no problem at all playing UF and LSU has shown they are not scared to play top teams, just look at our scheduling the past few years. What I have a problem with is teams like Bama playing shite schedules because their cross rival is a dumpster fire. They are feeding the rest of the SEC shite sandwiches and telling us it's good for the league.
If they are not scared why not change?
