Point being, the selection committee will select the Pac-10 Champion over Florida who finshed second in their SEC division or finished second in the SEC Championship game--9 times out of 10.
It's not impossible for a second SEC team to make the playoffs, but people on here seem to think it will happen virtually every year, which is not realistic.
If anything, the SEC is about to start beating up on each other even more often when they go to a 9-game season.

I'll have to disagree with you. I think both UF & Bama would've gotten in the playoffs in 2008 & 2009, LSU & Bama in 2011, and Bama & UF last year. And I think that trend will continue going forward for the foreseeable future. Now there will be years were only one SEC team gets in, but that will be the exception and not the norm.
