I'm seeing a girl and she's a Clemson fan. I'm okay with this. Her ex is an Arkansas graduate. It was okay dealing with the first issue, but this double dose is hard to swallow. Please advise.

That more than likely means that your buddy is into some weird shite if he goes to that extreme...
Actually, just the other day someone posted a photo of a man with a hole in his head pissing into what appeared to be his shadow's open mouth. I remember saying to myself, "That's really fricked up!"

When I was a bachelor, I didn't care if a girl was a Kansas fan (even though I never dated a Kansan). If she was good looking and could participate in intelligent conversation, all systems were go!
Who cares if she's a Clemson fan? I've heard that Clemson girls are hot!
However, the fact that she dated an Arkansas graduate implies that she has a shitty taste in men. When she dated that schmoe, she was pretty much flipping the middle finger to people with culture and etiquette. It sounds like she "settled" when she dated the Arkansas guy, which means that she's an unconfident insecure woman.
If I were you, I'd be worried...

I recently ran the marathon in Nashville two weeks ago and after giving myself a week off, I ran again today and my Achilles is throbbing. What should I do?

Sounds like you have Achilles tendinitis that has resulted from overuse of the tendon due to sudden increased intensity or duration of your running regimine.
You can purchase an Achilles tendon brace that usually resolves the issue.
However, if you have a torn tendon it may require surgery. You would know the difference between torn and simple overuse.
