Stewart Cink was one of my closest friends when I lived in Florence for about 5yrs growing up. I'll see him at golf tournaments every now and then and will talk to him. A few years ago I was visiting a customer and took them to see the John Deere Classic and Stewart was there. I knew his wife and she was there so my customer and I walked with Lisa (his wife). This was the weekend before the British Open (not the one he won) and his caddie was already over there so his neighbor was his caddy. He was a hockey player but I know nothing about hockey. His name was Marc Savard and he won the MVP at the Boston Bruins a year or two after that.

He seemed like a really good guy.

Also, the strong safety for Bama back in 1977-80 or so was my back door neighbor when we lived in Florence. When he would come to town he knew I was a huge Bama fan and would invite me over. One day he came home with EJ Junior and we watch The Outlaw Josey Wales together.
