I mean, that series still has a lot riding on it. Mississippi St. is playing to boost their hosting resume and if Ole Miss wins, it basically locks up a 2-seed in a regional.

bump that up to Miss potentially hosting a regional and Miss St. potentially being the 4th national seed from the SEC...
