Oh, I absolutely agree that ESPN is a great partner. It might even be for the best if they are the majority owner. But I don't like a venture where the conference has no equity as is being reported is the case here. I really hope those reports are untrue.

One of my big questions is what role ESPN will play in determing game days & times.Will it be able to make a bama play their hated rival, UT, on the first wkend in Nov for instance? Thursday nite games? T.giving Day games? At the bare minimum, it will have a big seat at the table when schedules are determined.
