There's a difference between the two situations - LSU and Florida have been more successful over the last decade than Auburn or UGA (though both AU and UGA) have had great decades) and that game has kept LSU out of the title game more than once (not so sure about Florida, though I wouldn't doubt it.)

As far as I know the AU-UGA game loser hasn't been kept out of the NCG because of a loss in their rivalry.

Well even if you don't play Florida, LSU can't beat bama. Then yal will want to move to the easy because you can't get past Saban. Try winning something that matters, it's been since 2007, and even then you lost 2 games
