justmyluck - I dont really care for his music. & he seems kinda douchey.
backincharge - I remember seeing him on the Grammys and he instantly looked alike an a-hole/douche.
richbrowneyes - A douchebag I went to hs with always posts Eric Church songs on fb and talks about how much he ~relates to him. Because of that I hate this guy.
redcliches - this fool is from my state. ugh.

maveness - Dude, that got me too. Peter Paul and Mary?????? Dude, you're a stoner country singer! You're the closest thing we've had to a hippie since Willie (who was a true hippie and knew how to do it).

I like a decent amount of his songs. I don't care if he is a douche, I will never be spending anytime with him regardless.

I think Eric Church reminds me more of the classic outlaw country stars than any of the singer who hate him.

Eric Church is no outlaw. When he starts creating classics that stand the test of time like Poncho and Lefty, Highwayman, Ghost Riders, etc., then maybe he can enter the outlaw pantheon.
Until then, he can continue singing modern country about windows rolled down with a beer in his lap.
He's one lexus away from being a country pop singer...

It's a different time in country music. I wouldn't classify eric church as pop country (most of the shite they play on the radio) either. He's the closest thing out there to the classics right now. No he isn't perfect but he manages to write, sing, and live most of his songs. Also his songs relate to today's rural american life.
I'd take eric church any day of the week over brad paisley and blake shelton. I wasn't a shelton hater till I saw him live and he went on and on about the story of this song that I know for a fact has been around way longer than him. I'm ok with his cover just don't act like the song was part of your life with a big made up story.
