possibly the first time this has happened on the SECr

And if an LSU fan will acknowledge that Bama deserved the second spot in the game as much as anyone else--given the resume of everyone else in the field--and that they deserved the title having won the game, that too might be a first.

If OSU beats that 6 win team we're not having this conversation.

yep, sure would

j/k. Bama definitely deserved the title because they took advantage of their opportunity. I still have serious reservations about the philosophy of favoring who had the better loss and opposed to who went out and had the better wins in terms of who to put in that game, but they obviously were as deserving as just about anyone and had a good argument to be there.

I agree with the loss part, but are you not discounting the SOS and victories at the same time? I believe OK STATE beat teams that had a considerable more amount of wins plus more ranked teams.
