No sure bama has the best WR corp in the SEC maybe not even in the West.
They are good though.

Wrong again
Lol. You guys need to lighten up about 2011. I believe LSU lost to Kentucky that year, right? "Undefeated in regulation?"
I guess you still went to and won the SECCG . . still, I wish more LSU folk would acknowledge that it often takes a bit of good fortune and teams ahead of you shitting the bed to make it.
And maybe, just maybe, the best team won it in 2011.

Les Miles is a great coach and we've been very successful under him
I suppose you think we're still doing it with Saban's players 9 years in?
Any moderately competent coach can do just fine at LSU. Just the nature of where you are located and modern college football dynamics.

How many starters and how many contributors is LSU losing?
Bama is losing 12 contributors including 10 starters. 13 contributors if you count Pettway who wasn't part of any regular rotation but did see some spot duty.

Keep this between us, we don't have starters.
Both teams will kick azz next year. Can't wait.

I did say arguably. We have one bona fide star and about four or five others that as a group should at least be in the conversation.
No one like Julio Jones for sure, but plenty of targets. That's what I mean by "best." Maybe not the highest-draft-pick best.

I wish this were true, unfortunately I lived through the Archer-Hallman-Dinardo era and know better.
The truth is that no program can mask a shitty coach and have that school still win at the clip LSU has under Miles.

We lose 9 starters, just 10 on the 2 deep.

No need to respond to that one. Unfounded claims.

Were Ware of Ford on the 2 deep?

LSU was 13-1 in '11. As you know that loss wasn't to the cats.
PRICELESS!!!!!!
bama fan stating LSU fans need to realize it takes teams ranked ahead of you to lose for you to make the title game.
Who had to lose in '11 for bama to back into title game?
If OK St doesn't lose in '11 does that mean they were BETTER than bama?
What about '12? What teams had to lose late for the tide to fall into title game, AGAIN?

In fairness i think that's sort of what he was saying
but reasonable bama fans shouldn't have too much trouble understanding why it's frustrating when we have to a beat a team twice to win the title but they only have to beat us once.

Then you lost at least 12 contributors.

I mean ok I guess if that's how you want to look at it, those guys were buried on the depth chart by the end of the year and wouldn't be seeing much time this year had they stayed.

You do understand the concept of a 12 game schedule don't you?

College football was different back then, in today's enviroment, my previous statement is correct. (JMHO )

Hill and Hillard wer top two rushers for the season.
Blue was the starter for the first three/four games till he was injured.

Hey I hope you're right, this means LSU will be on top for quite some time

Ware was 2nd on the team in rushes and 4th on the team in receptions. I'm not saying he was a starter; I'm saying he was a contributor.
