Chizik said that they didnt test until after the NC game because the lab they were working with didnt develop a test until after the game. He was then asked when he became aware that the players were using spice and he said he wouldnt be sure until a test was available and given. If you are working with a lab to come up with a test for the drug wouldnt you already have suspicions that it was being used by the players?

Did he dodge the real question or was he really unaware that players were smoking spice until a test was available? Not trying to stir up shite Im just trying to make sense of all this.

Spice being smoked by half the team? I don't think that was the first time Mosely's dad had tried drugs.

The reason so many players smoke the synthetic stuff is because they can't smoke marijuana, obviously. I'd much rather players smoke weed than spice, for many reasons. Just stop fighting it and let them, but don't allow spice. All these top notch athletes who do smoke marijuana are the proof that it doesn't change their game and is relatively harmless. No need to kick a kid off the team who is keeping up with all their responsibilities and tarnish their reputation for some pot.

The Lacy story was moving, however, I was taken aback by his feeling he was above a mobile home (as a kid-not now).

This is stuff for movies, his family was devastated and then he hit the big time. A lot of good people live in mobile homes. Not everybody is born with amazing ability or born with the good fortune of having parents who realize the importance of working hard and an education. He was born with both.

Prince Charles would be depressed if he was ONLY a simple millionaire.
