I doubt it's "in hopes" that another prospect just happens to develop there. Those kind of schools actively seek out talent to funnel into the program. Really not that unheard of, it happens at a lot of places.

Is the presser still at 4?
Did twitter get back with the agent with proof?
Is the NCAA sending in investigators?
