With the ACC schools possibly off the Board and Mizzou seeming like the odd man out in the SEC, would you be receptive to a desperate plea from Jim Delany?

Right now the conference is Ohio State, Michigan, and everybody else. Maryland and Rutgers were very blah additions. I think Delany would fap himself to death if he was able to steal Mizzou from the SEC despite previously treating them like a $2 hooker

Who would be #16 for the B1G if they took the CSA Yankees?

I was always a B1G advocate. I was brought onto the whole SEC thing by the southern culture and brotherhood thing.

Now that I see that really doesn't exist, I'm here for the money.

If the money's the same, I'm out. Gotta pay me more to deal with the people most like the side of our state of which we're most embarrassed.

I've always felt Mizzou is better off in the BIG compared to the SEC because of location to BIG schools compared to SEC. Add in the weather, cities located in the midwest, etc.

I like having Mizzou in the SEC because of them being in the same conference as LSU but being in the SEC East is odd.

I'd rather them/we(student at MU) stay in the Big 12 or BIG because of geography.

If Mizzou did decide to go to the B1G, who would the SEC get to replace them? If a grant of rights is as binding as everyone thinks, that removes all of the ACC, Big 12, & B1G schools as replacements. I always figured FSU wouldn't sign a GOR, so I figured they would always be around if Mizzou ever did go to the B1G. Now that they apparently have, I don't see a viable replacement for Mizzou.

If you're going to troll, at least try to make a little sense and it would help if you knew a little bit about what actually went down with the BIG.

And for those entertaining the idea that Mizzou would bolt for BIG, you clearly have no idea what actually happened with that situation. The fanbase was never excited about going to the BIG, it was the only conference entertaining expansion at the time the BIG12 was on life support... the SEC move brought overwhelming support from over 90% of the fanbase, a move is not happening.. sorry you're stuck with us.

I honestly feel sorry for Mizzou fan. There's not one school, possibly one fan, that wants them in the SEC. They don't fit in culturally, and they are clearly sub-par in athletics. That is not their fanbase's fault.
I hope there's some way they can get into the Big 10 and be happy.

They should. Their school and program would be a perfect fit up there. They'd also be pretty damn competitive in short order IMO.

The answer is: Yes

The reason is: because we're better than you.

In a heart beat. Get away from all the meth addicted cousin frickers and join a conference where they can actually put together a coherent sentence beyond "You gonna get raped.". It will be a breath of fresh air that I cannot wait for.

In all seriousness(though I know that's not what this thread is about), was never a B1G fan and still am not. Was a fan of getting out of the Big 12 no matter where though.

Hell no. Mizzou already told B1G not interested once when they asked if Mizzou would be interested in junior membership. That ship has sailed and Delaney was responsible for the fallout.

Mizzou will never contemplate the B1G after joining the SEC unless something drastic happens to kill the SEC.

To my Mizzou Nation, I have been reading this and I can't figure out why you care what they say, trust me the truth speaks for itself as far as states go.

Wish for once a thread started would stay on course and talk about what the subject was about....every thread seems to drift off point and turn into a full fledged troll and flamefest
