I think the drug part is added BS. He had some vertebrae fused due to his injury. The NFL didn't want to take a chance. I think most doctors told him it wasn't a good idea.

Nope it was something to do with the drug test part of the physical ill look for the link Bmore newspaper published it I believe it's been a while though
