Not even close.

Snyder should not be that high, and should certainly not be above Spurrier.

24. Miles
25. Bielema
30. Freeze
36. Muschamp

I find these lists to be incredibly stupid. Take number one and number three for example. Neither would be successful at each other's schools. Some coaches do well in different venues. Some are suited to coach a team of 20 RS sophomores itching to go to the NFL, and others 6th year JUCO transfers. Each school has its own unique circumstances, and each coach can't be judged. Where was Gene Chizik on this list last year? I rest my case.

How in the hell does Miles rank behind Gundy when he has accomplished more than him and Stoops, who Miles has beaten when he was at Okie state?

23. Dan Mullen- Mississippi State
24. Les Miles- LSU

If Mullen was at one of the top jobs in the conference – Florida, Alabama, LSU or Georgia – he would easily win at a higher level.

What the frick was LSU before Saban got there? They weren't any better off than South Carolina was before they got Spurrier.

Top 15 finishes in 96 and 97. Storied program pre-Hallman. Struggled dealing with the Bear like everyone else in college football.

Until Miles takes his hands off the offense and starts letting the OC do his job I am afraid that he will always be viewed this way. We have been struggling in Bowls as of late. Without the development of a QB our struggles will continue.

FIFY

If we made a list of coaches who frick up two-minute drills and ends of games, Mullen would be tied with Miles at one. Mullen has probably just as many mess ups, but he and Dooley are the only coaches that hold the distinction of out bad coaching Miles directly.

Steve Spurrier predicted a long time ago that if LSU kept all its in state talent that we would be a force to be reckoned with. Saban was just the first to do it. Miles has done it longer.

I thought the same thing? He does seem to trip himself up. Out of all the coaches ranked he has the most up swing. He could go from 0 to hero in hurry

This is a pretty good troll, but if you think Kenny Bell (not Nebraska Kenny Bell) is one of the best Louisiana recruits over the relevant time period, you are incredibly stupid.

LINK

He still has time, but that is pretty pathetic, FF.

It's a tad absurd. Sporting News had Coach Miles at #4 overall last year. Maybe someone else will put out a list this with not so much popcorn.

The best you say! Collins being the exception, I am pretty sure we got the better end of the deal with in state talent. Next years class will reveal if we got shite on lock down because our in state talent next year is the best class ever
