VU Winter Conditioning video "Dores at Dawn" Vandy's media department has really done a pretty incredible job promoting the program online over the past two years.
Before I hear Vandy board just posting for general interest fof the college football crowd.

I watched a few of the videos from last years season a while ago and really enjoyed them. I remember the Auburn one in particular, and it got me pumped up. Very well done.

Gotta love Franklin. He's a damn good coach

His speech and the players reaction to his questions at the beginning is very telling of the mentality he and the staff have created.

Wow that was an awesome video and reminds me of the one Ole Miss produced this year just slightly no made as well ... but that's neither here nor there ...
Question: Coach James Franklin seems to be a great coach and IMO better any program he was given, so How long is it before someone come and snatch him up? Would Vandy allow that to happen??

Want to link the Ole Miss video?
While VU is a private school and do not have to release salary information Franklin is believed to have made over 2 mil last year and will be close to or upwards of 3 mil this year putting him near top 10 money. VU will open a $21 million dollar 120 yd indoor practice facility, complete with an indoor track.
End of this month new weight and training facilities will be announced and by summer stadium overall renovations plan will be set in motion. He honestly has a pretty sweet setup so long as the administration continues to do their part. Win and the fan base will grow.

Well I guess by this you mean to say that he won't be leaving because Vandy isn't willing to pony up the money? So do you think he is willing to stay or do you think he will leave if ... let's say a UGA, USCw, Michigan, etc. come calling?

There are a handful of jobs I think he would leave for yes, you mentioned one of them. What I'm saying is he is not leaving for a middle of the road type opening (like a UNC or something similar). Do you think Freeze will stay even with his ties to the area if a similar school to the ones you listed comes calling? (no flame intended)

None taken.

Yes and No.
Freeze had the chance to go to San Jose State for more money and chose to stay and go to Arkansas State instead because of family. So if some of the schools I listed if Ole Miss matched the money, IMO he wouldn't go because his family is here and he is already in the best conference. Now if Alabama & Georgia came calling I might be worried. Let's say it was Tennessee or LSU I think he would think about it but in the end I don't think he'd leave for either of those though.
I think them leaving is a concern but I don't think money will be the issue anymore and I also believe given the fact that both CHF & CJF are at SEC schools already shorten the list significantly.
Honestly answer what other school are "TRULY" that much better that you would be willing to change?

No Freeze is at his dream job as difficult as that is to believe

I will tell you right now he will play us for money ... he did that back in High School. And yes it is a dream job for him but believe you me though ... If Oklahoma came in tomorrow and offered him , let's say $4mil and we didn't match it or come close, he'd be gone in a heart beat. That's just the nature of the business.
