South Carolina handed out an offer to class of 2017 shortstop Mason Streater (Duncan/Byrnes), who is a player we’ve mentioned on the site a few times. Streater has the tools to play either middle infield position but does project to stay at shortstop.

Lee did grow up a Clemson fan but he is going to give the Gamecocks a shot to recruit him. He sat in the upper 80s at the Palmetto Games and is very athletic. He’s not a max effort pitcher.
