This is "As the Plains Burn" all over again. It'll be another tempest in some blog teapots, Auburn will be cleared...again...and the haters will claim it all happened regardless of the truth. If there was anything to any of this it would have been found in the last investigation. What has been shown is that Auburn has a uber-clean program.

OJ was never officially convicted of murder either.

Proves how awesome a guy he was IMO.

Yeah the NCAA did a great job in the initial investigation at Miami. Keep telling yourself that.

In other news maybe it's not a total loss - maybe you guys can sell Jordan Hare to a MLS team or something?

By the way how do y'all feel about tuberville now?

Um the NCAAs problem with Miami was they used illegal means to gather information. Not a lack of information.

Honest question, do some of you actually think about the comparisons you're trying to draw or is simply having a common theme enough to satisfy you?

And what does tubbs have to do with it?

What amuses me is that there is a huge group of people who will believe anything ever said that puts auburn in a bad light. And there's a huge group of auburn fans who will fight any accusation down to last breath, no matter how much smoke or how things look.

Did auburn do this? Maybe. Call me when something sticks.

Same goes for your school.

Probably the best way to look at it. Have we given players hundreds of dollars...not a doubt in my mind we have. Does it matter? Not until a four letter acronym says it does.

Not fond of Auburn obviously, but I don't see anything coming of this. To be honest I don't really care though. They are riding a double digit conference game losing streak, and will likely go 3-5 in the SEC this year, how much worse would probation make them?

I guess it would keep them down longer, but this is basically the equivalent of speculating on probation for late 90's Vanderbilt.

Dont try to spin this barner. Everyone knows your program is the dirtiest in the country. Its an embarrassment to the rest of the conference.
