Why would highest drafted player go to Mizzou? No offense, but y'all don't appear to be a baseball hotspot.

You don't have great options as a 23rd round pick ...
J/K - there are many many reasons to go to a University like Mizzou over some upfront cash.

They still get guys drafted. They recently had a stretch of 3 years in a row with a pitcher drafted in the first round. And I think all of them are in the majors now. Aaron Crow was one of them, he's teammates with Louis Coleman now.

Compare current major leaguers from LSU and Mizzou... think you'd be a bit surprised.
