So spent week on coast and as a welcome home gift she bought me a puppy.

So now we got a 3 month old boy and 7 week old puppy.

I guess we are not ever sleeping for next few months.

That's the last time you leave your woman with a newborn for the beach. Prayers sent

Yeah well she said she didn't want to travel with little man and it wasn't a fun trip I only went to beach for 40 minutes.

But I got to visit attorneys banks and real estate agents.

If you're on a phone, download the Picup app, upload, then post. It's easy stuff.

Is crate training the best way to keep a dog when so young?

I have him in a rubber tub with no top in bathroom right now.

Looks like a pit to me. According to the other OT your child is in imminent danger from that vicious beast.

The crate should be big enough that you wont have to buy a new one as the dog grows. The most important part is sectioning it off so the dog only has enough room to turn around and lay down. If the crate is bigger than that the dog will be able to pee in a corner and not have to lay in it.

As trent stated. the area should be as big as his butt to his nose, from edge to edge.

Say "kennel" every time you put him in it, then praise him after. start with short increments, like a minute, then release with lots of praise.

Also, dont let him out just because he is whinning. and no more than an hour or two at a time in the beginning

newspaper at first until he is potty trained. I used old undershirts. Now he is on towels, because he has been house broken/potty trained since september

Is it good that he has already attached himself to a comforter?
