Beef has it's place and I wouldn't turn down any, but brisket is near the bottom of BBQ. Gimme pork and chicken over brisket any day.

This isn't a bad opinion to have, I just know that over the years, venturing many BBQ joints in the Greatest State in the Union, and to many lesser states in Dixie, that brisket is no where close to near the bottom. You might like chicken and pork better, and I can't fault your for that, but you need to expand your pallet.

For my Georgia boys, ATL has a place called Big Shanty's. UNBELIEVABLE. It's better than Lil Dooeys and that's saying something.
