I had to check the date this was posted to make sure this wasnt one of the older threads covering this topic almost word for word.
This question is extremely short-sighted. No aggie has any regrets about joining the SEC.

quote:Well, it was a legit question on my part. I don't normally speculate on the Rant about other teams' past seasons, but since LSU refuses to participate in basketball my March is a little empty.

Shortsighted? Yes, extremely- the SEC is far more successful and stable than the Big 12. But a one-time run to the Big Game is always something most fans can at least consider a worthwhile proposition.
Asking A&M this isn't like asking LSU or UGA if they wished they'd move to another conference for a year; you guys (Aggies) just had a magic season, that if placed inside the Big 12 where you had been, you'd maybe have won it all.
To the Bama fan saying the Tide have been undefeated... maybe not. There were quite a few capable teams in conference that might have beaten you, had you played them the week following the LSU game. I think we took something out of you for awhile, that you didn't get back until the bowl game. Just my opinion.
