If the jump to the SEC isn't made, then Byrne is still the athletic director, Sherman isn't fired, Sumlin and Kingsbury aren't brought in, and Manziel doesn't start.

Wasn't aware of that being the impetus for the change. If so, bummer for y'all. Seriously, just think- you'd have been the national champ, the nation's darling for breaking the SEC stranglehold in football, possibly enough leverage to rework the Texas deathgrip on the Big 12 in business dealings. As it stands, JFF aside, you're now merely one of a half-dozen SEC teams trying to elbow their way to the top.
