Other than Bama and aTm I dot see your sec schedule being that much tougher.

So, just go ahead and discount those two top-five national contenders, then.

I don't see as big of a divide between the west and the east as you do though.

Kentucky, Tennessee and Missouri are all dreadful. Auburn and MAYBE Arkansas are the only teams in the west that come close to that level of futility. Getting to play all three of them, while LSU plays none and, as a bonus, also "getting" to play Arkie (assuming they're still horrible) from the west makes their schedule tons weaker.

So, yeah, as long as you ignore the difference between two national title contenders and two of the worst teams in the conference, there isn't much difference.

Well if I am honest and some Bama fan Will crucify me for this but I think our national title contention this season is made likely by the ridiculousness of this schedule. Remember we replaced nearly an entire OL and a first round CB and fifth yr player at safety. My point being I don't think like the last two yrs that we are heads and shoulders better than SC or Florida if for no other reason than complacency. I am taking a wait and see attitude. If we can beat aTm soundly I'll be a believer. LSU is in a similar position but your schedule makes it far less likely that you get there.
