Question: Should I quit my job if I'm not happy with it, but I'm very dependent upon the money I'm currently making. I could do so but would have to scrape by doing something else while waiting for another opportunity to come along and given what the job market is like ... who knows how long that could take. Should I instead stick it out and continue to look for another job position somewhere else while currently working where I'm at now? Or even this should I quit go back to school do further education in an attempt to acquire a better job. What do you think I should do?

In my opinion you should never quit a job without another job waiting for you. It may suck to remain at your current job, but you need to stick it out until you get a new job offer.

Also, I suggest that you look for jobs that offer higher education financial assistance. Even if you make a little less, you'll gain it all back when you earn a degree. Just think how much you'll spend out of pocket for higher education if you don't receive assistance.

Don't quit your current job if you don't have another job lined up.
