I doubt we'll be in a close game against a team like Valparisio or New Mexico State

I disagree. I mean... maybe we could blow them out, but those teams are always better than you think they are. And they are usually pretty good. I don't think we are very good, so I'd expect us to play a good team close.

Bucknell won 28 games, lost two in conference. They lost by one @ Missouri, where we also lost. They beat Lasalle, NM State, Purdue.

South Dakota State beat New Mexico and dominated their conference.

NM State started cold but finished with a decent record and won their conference

Valparaiso won the Horizon League which is a pretty good conference and finished 25-8.

Recently, we have had trouble with Alabama (not gonna make the tourney), and lost to Kentucky (not gonna make the tourney), Missouri (will make the tourney as an 8-10 seed, Tennessee (on the bubble) and Ole Miss (will make the tourney as a 9-12 seed).

Every team that is remotely good has given us fits, and recently we have lost to almost EVERY team that is remotely good. If history is correct, the 13-seed we play will probably be "remotely good" at the least
