That will be a great improvement.

The existing building is a half-assed brutalist rendition.

There are too many of those on college campuses for some reason.

Its kind of reminds me of the Garland Ave garage at Arkansas, which is lined with retail:



Most big universities have at least some forward-thinking buildings. Not all modern architecture is bad.

CEBA was my home for several years (I did both undergrad and grad school classes in that building). It looks awful. The only redeeming quality is that it is well air conditioned and has ample parking relative to much of campus. Very little shade on that side of campus. I can recall the concrete on Nicholson Extension buckling more than once on hot summer days.
