i think its smart. does not seem like a serious injury, just a tweaked hammy, but why run your 40 before its fully healed if you dont have to? get a good 40 time and you can make yourself alot of extra money. And as for being more injury prone, i dont really know about that. When was he ever hurt at bama prior to the toe? It is the nature of that injury to be lingering. In fact, it speaks well of his resilience (and the quality of the bama medical staff) to be able to come back from turf toe that required surgery and play at such a high level. both mark and trent had to have knee surgery prior to the nfl.

He wasn't. In '09 he redshirted, in '10 he played mop-up duty.

But the last 2 years he was 100% for maybe 5 games. And like I said, he had injury problems in high school too. Maybe he's just had bad luck and he won't have any issues once he gets to the NFL, but is that an assumption you make on your 1st round pick?
