That could be the case, I am admittedly unfamiliar with Bama's staffing situation.

I just know there were a few guys (I don't recall their names) who were hired, and the stories were spun to be related to admins being allowed to recruit. That was the gist of what I understood.

a lot of that is just spin... Bama's support staff has been the hottest spot for up and coming coaches and several have been hired as on field assistants at other programs.

Their support staff may, in fact, be bigger than most programs, but it's not like they've got 10 times the assitants working 80 hours a week in some magic football factory.

There is no silver bullet... it's still all about recruiting, player development, and good coaching. They do it better than anyone else.
