Anyone ever wonder what will realistically happen in the future?

I'm not talking about hover-boards, magma tits, and dick Lasers. Ok maybe dick lasers. Just cause, frick yo cervix. Anyways, I was thinking about how in todays time, we think of the Black Plague as minuscule and entirely destructible by modern medicine. When on the other hand when it was actually happening in europe and shite everyone was like "Oh frick we really shouldn't have shite in pots and poured it in the street, people be dying left and right".
