This. And there are way more channels and venues for creative work. If you're not seeing creativity in the theater or on tv, it's probably because the financial outlay is so great on capturing attention, producers and money backers won't take chances on pushing new talent or ideas. They'll play it conservatively and not push.

And really, if you want to get serious about it, there's not going to be a Mozart every generation. Radio, TV and film get passes because it's a young medium, but the reality is that over centuries people will adjust "This is the greatest artist" to fit their own present culture and not respect the past.
