I really didn’t expect you to understand but I thought I would try. A person gets out of college what they put into it and performance after they graduate is all that matters, not where they went to college.

Only in a perfect world. The earning potential of a Stanford degree is far higher and presents far more opportunities than a UT or Arkansas degree, statistics show. It is what it is.
Basically what you told me was a 1 in a million story that doesn't apply to 99.9999% of Americans.. its the same thing as a 2* or 1* high school recruit making it big and becoming an NFL all-pro player. It happens occasionally - but far less likely than a highly rated player. (although that occurrence is far more frequent than some guy going to a glorified community college and becoming the CEO of Walmart)
