OSU should have gotten in over 'Bama? Hollow, intellectually dishonest argument. I find it more sad than annoying, especially this long after the fact.

Who was it they lost to again? Iowa fricking State? That went over real well with the human voters.
Had they not dropped a game to an unranked cupcake with a losing record toward the end of the season, I would have been the first to agree that they deserved to get in over 'Bama.
ETA: I had to look up OSU's loss that year.
