If we had won that game then yeah it would have been. But they didn't win and not only that they lost in spectacular fashion. so that knocks them down the list doesn't it? Man some of you are idiots.

so you're saying if LSU had won...it would of been the greatest team in the history of CFB, but since they lost they're only the 5th or 6th best team in LSU history?

If they had won that game then yes #1 in LSU history. Where they place in all of college football history is debatable.

But losing that game the way they did drops them down the list in terms of just LSU history behind 1958 and 2003 for sure. They are in a group of about 8 or 10 other LSU teams that you can make a case for depending on your agenda.

Unlike you I have no agenda in this discussion and would be happy to have it. I think despite winning the BCSCG the 2007 team was not as good as the 2011 team. I think it gets tough with teams like the 59, 61, 69, 87 teams. Based on what I have read and heard I would put 69 over 2011 for sure. I would probably put the 2011 teams over the others.

That's my opinion and other LSU fans or people knowledgeable about LSU history are free to disagree. Clowns like you and Gator trolling this thread with very little knowledge of what you're talking about can't because you speak with bias and ignorance.
