JM and his family probably formed this corporation to protect Johnny and Texas A&M from NCAA violations. It is most certain the NCAA will be looking if not already into JM exploits.

I for one think JM is doing nothing wrong and has every right to enjoy his success and new fame. I see nothing wrong with forming a for profit corporation to make money. For many of you young, commie infested, brained washed children, profit is what is paying for your education.

I say f__k the NCAA and if JM and his family can make a legal buck off his fame, by all means do it!

Times are changing and not soon enough. A&M has made millions in free advertising exposure, ticket sales, tv dollars, etc due to JM. Who among us are such hypocrites that we could begrudge him or his family from protecting their rights.

Lay off JM Ranters! He is making all of us in the SEC more money. Lets hope for his continued success on and off the field.

PS: Except September 14th

Nothing wrong with this.

An extremely overvalued education while we spend double and triple the amount per student with subpar results compared to the world. Go to a trade school now if you want to make money not a 4 year "business degree".

Here we go. Back to the Metallica, who pushed ultra hard for lawsuits against people illegally downloading their music via Napster. They won the lawsuits but got labeled sue happy and greatly diminished their brand and hurt their own pocketbook. This is a slippery slope and JM needs to seriously pick his battles in who to sue because have fun tying yourself up in multiple courts.

The only ones who win here are the lawyers as you become labeled a sue happy client. The lawyers will love you but other business men won't. Suing some guy for making T-Shirts is not picking your battles wisely. Suing an international blog selling thousands upon thousands of "Johnny Football" merchandize is another story. Yet, good luck taking on that international blog as they hire massive lawyers and will just tie you up in court because they can and have the resources. Even if Johnny Football is correct and wins a judgement vs the international blog, they will still make sure he pays a lot out to lawyers in fees just to win that lawsuit. Therefore, is it worth it?

It's his call, reputation, future, money and fame. I am just pointing out lawsuits are the last resort not the first answer.
