You don't think if there was Johnny Football merchandise all over the place for which he owns the trademark to that the press and NCAA wouldn't be all over his arse?

Now, Unfortunately players in the NCAA do not get paid royalties when their numbers and names are sold for millions. How many #3 alabama jersey's were sold simply because Trent Richardson was a beast (which he worked his arse off for) yet never received a red cent for. That's the real problem.

However, in this case, Manziel doesn't want to play by the rules that everyone else has (who can blame him) and now he's suing over a nickname. Perhaps something good can come from this but the way he is handling his fame is prickish at best.
