He's a truly nice person. I've seen him here in BR off and on since 1990 and he's been cool to people every single time.

So he got rid of his mansion in Fla? He & many pro athletes live there because there is no state income tax. Last I heard he still owns his suite at the Alumni hotel on campus. He once told his CPA that he kept $30K in quarters, from his multiple car washers, in a large barrel at home because he wanted to see his money everyday. His CPA was going to have the books audited because they kept coming up short every mth. Had a large salt water acquarium in the back of his hotrod but didn't understand why the fish kept dying..no oxygen system. His book is full of stories like these.

Adrian Petersen lives in Houston tx. Does that make him a Rice Owl fan?

It would be different if Shaq went to Alabama but lived in Auburn. Both cities are pretty similar and don't offer anything that is too different from the others.
Baton Rouge is very different from eastern Tennessee. If his main goal was to get away from his celebrity and "hide." Then Knoxville>BR.
