We can't all play Florida this year.

See, that's just not fair to Auburn, because everyone else gets us on their schedule

We would have the toughest.
Kentucky:
Aug. 31 Western Kentucky (Nashville, Tenn.)
Sept. 7 Miami, Ohio
Sept. 14 Louisville
Sept. 21 Bye Week
Sept. 28 Florida
Oct. 5 at South Carolina
Oct. 12 Alabama
Oct. 19 Bye Week
Oct. 26 at Mississippi State
Nov. 2 Alabama State
Nov. 9 Missouri
Nov. 16 at Vanderbilt
Nov. 23 at Georgia
Nov. 30 Tennessee
LSU:
Aug. 31 TCU (Arlington)
Sept. 7 UAB
Sept. 14 Kent State
Sept. 21 Auburn
Sept. 28 at Georgia
Oct. 5 at Mississippi State
Oct. 12 Florida
Oct. 19 at Ole Miss
Oct. 26 Furman
Nov. 2 Bye Week
Nov. 9 at Alabama
Nov. 16 Bye Week
Nov. 23 Texas A&M
Nov. 30 Arkansas
Both teams play Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and Miss. St.
Next best opponent for Kentucky is USCe, for LSU it's A&M. A&M is tougher, though probably not by much.
After that, y'al have Mizzou, Vandy, and Tennessee. LSU has Auburn, Ole Miss, and Arkansas. Vandy and Ole Miss look to be similarly talented this year. I think Auburn and Arkansas are still tougher than Mizzou and Tennessee, but I can understand an argument the other way. Regardless, all four are coming off crappy years and don't exactly look primed for a bounce back
Overall, I can see an argument for either team. But being a homer, I'm gonna say ours is slightly tougher so that we look better when we run the table

LSU will get more viewership and more exposure. More prime time games.

Alabama wins the last 2 national championships and has by far the easiest schedule in the SEC. Where's that picture of Saban winking?
It is appropriate here.
If Alabama does not win the national title again next year, how big of a fail is it? How big of a disappointment? Pretty huge, I would say. They have a 2 game season. Really, only one tough game because A&M is going to implode next year and I fully expect Bama to beat them by 30 points.
Even if Bama were to lose to LSU, they will still likely win the West (I can see LSU losing 2 other games even if they beat Bama) and will win the national title again.
