I don't think Ole Miss is a lock. If they are currently "In" the field, they have got to be one of the last teams in, meaning they'd be a 12-seed.

Agree that Ole Miss is far from a lock but they're probably a bit more safely in the 9-10 range at this point.

They're resume so far is kind of weak as you point out but the positives you mention still look better than most other "bubble" teams they're up against like, say, St Johns (with losses to SF and NC Ashville) or Indiana St (whom they beat) just for example.

When pointing out the blemishes with teams the catch is that once you're down to 10-12 seeds there's not any teams left that don't have a ton of them.

I'd imagine they're safely in if they just manage to finish 4-2 against the rest of their schedule.

Alabama probably has to beat Florida in the tourney (assuming they have little chance @UF). The only other way may be winning out aside from Florida and making the SEC tourney final including a W over Mizzou at least but that would mean getting help from other bubble teams.

The SEC only has one lock right now. Mizzou isn't quite a bubble team at this point, but they aren't a lock either. Ole Miss is still in, but they don't have much margin for error or bad losses, which is why being handed that game at home against UGA was so huge for them. ALabama and Kentucky still have a shot, but are on the outside right now.
