Does Alabama give any tests to would-be recruits? I've always wondered about that. As thorough as Saban seems to be, I would think that sort of testing could be of great value in picking the right kind of players.

I've also wondered if we gave practice Wonderlic tests to our players to help prep them for the draft. Kind of like taking practice tests for the MCAT or LSAT or something, although obviously not as difficult.

Couldn't this theory also apply in reverse? Because Alabama has one of the best coaches in the history of college football, Alabama players are more likely to play to their absolute maximum potential, thus they don't have as much room for improvement as other potential professional football players.

The flip side is that you know they can be coached, but I'm still not sold on this theory that somehow playing for Alabama should increase your draft stock.
